After the perfect home birth and wonderful first night together we were sent to the Norfolk & Norwich hospital the next afternoon as Martha wouldn't feed. She objected to being forced by an army of NHS midwives into different positions and eventually worked it out for herself once she had been left in peace to get on with it. After a hot and sleepless night for all in hospital, Martha and Mum were finally discharged at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and got home at the stroke of midnight.
With her new found freedom, Martha was keen to meet the rest of her family and a lovely Christmas Day and Boxing Day were had by all.
